Rev. Graham Watson
Associate Minister of Connection & Outreach

Friendly and outdoorsy like a park ranger, Graham is ready to welcome you to University Christian Church, encourage you to get out there and serve, and will help you stay connected to the life of church together.

For fun, Graham goes on everyday adventures and comes up with ways to enhance the college experience. In the office, Graham daydreams of meeting doggos and also ways for church and the academy to show up and work together to better God’s Kingdom, life, and servant leadership. At seminary, Graham’s studies included a focus on racial justice and learning from church hurt.

Sunday mornings and wide Texas landscapes cultivated Graham’s heart for wide community. In college, Graham partnered as a co-founder with the refugee community and TCU to provide grass-roots service. In 2020, Graham used that business degree to help the local HIV clinic streamline to become more patient-centric.

Graham is also an ordained minister by the Disciples denomination and we extend a special thanks to the congregations of First Christian and Brookhollow Christian in Abilene, TX, First Methodist in Forth Worth, TX, and Woodmont Christian in Nashville, TN where Graham has grown and previously served.

UCC earnestly works to be the body of Christ every day in Austin, and to be really great neighbors. Along those lines, and across faith traditions, Graham helps us walk together with college students and service organizations in our wider Austin community.
