Rev. Megan Peglar
Senior Minister
Rev. Peglar began her ministry as the Senior Minister of University Christian Church in August 2020. A graduate of Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School, Megan was ordained in 2010 through the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest. She has served congregations in Fort Worth, Euless, Kansas City, and Irving and has also worked in community relations at a medical school and in admissions at Brite. Rev. Peglar has been active in denominational ministry at the Regional and Area levels. She’s also been on various non-profit boards and is currently a member of the Clergy Advisory Board for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.
In her teaching and leadership, Megan often employs spiritual disciplines, creative worship experiences, and hands-on activities to bring individuals to new places in their relationships with God and others.
Megan is married to Steve and has two adult stepchildren, three cats, and one sweet dog. For fun, she enjoys reading, playing guitar and singing, cooking, walking, hiking, dabbling in a variety of art mediums, and watching good TV (like Schitt’s Creek).
